Nimbus Group AB (publ) and Oxe Marine AB have signed an agreement for engine deliveries that means Nimbus Group’s customers will also be able to choose to equip their boats with Oxe Marine’s diesel outboard engine.
The Swedish company Oxe Marine is one of the first in the marine motor industry to have developed an outboard engine with a transmission system that is strong enough to cope with the higher torque of diesel engines. As diesel engines can also run on HVO100 renewable biodiesel, customers have the opportunity to reduce their emissions of climate-impacting carbon dioxide.

We are pleased with the collaboration with Oxe Marine because it means that we are broadening our range and giving customers the opportunity to also choose diesel-powered outboard engines,” says Jan-Erik Lindström, CEO of Nimbus Group.
Comprehensive work is taking place at Nimbus Group to offer the company’s customers more sustainable engine solutions. The company has not only developed the fully electric Nimbus 305 e-power and Bella Zero, but all diesel inboard engines available to customers can already be operated on HVO100 biodiesel. The diesel outboard engines from Oxe Marine are available in four power ranges and will initially be offered together with boats under the Nimbus brand.
