Nimbus Group AB (publ) will for the first time exhibit its new Aquador 250HT at the Boot Düsseldorf trade fair, which begins on January 21. In parallel, the Aquador 300 HT will have its international launch, a boat that has previously only been exhibited in Finland. Boot Düsseldorf is the world’s largest indoor boat show and kicks off the 2023 trade fair season.

The launch of the new series of boats from Aquador marks the most comprehensive product renewal for the Aquador brand for 20 years. The first launch in the new series was 300HT, which was showcased at UIVA in Helsinki in August last year and is now making its international debut in Düsseldorf. The world premiere for its little sister, Aquador 250 HT, will, however, be at Boot Düsseldorf. The new series of boats from Aquador comprises three new boats with the 380 HT to be launched at a later stage. Aquador-brand boats are manufactured by Finnish Bella Boats, which joined Nimbus Group in 2018. The Nimbus Group booth will also exhibit boats under the Nimbus and Flipper brands. Each brand will be presented by the brand’s own personnel.

“The launch of new boats and participation in important trade fairs are key to supporting our growth strategy. By being part of a single Group, we have the resources and economies of scale needed to offer our customers attractive models in several different segments,” says Jan-Erik Lindström, CEO of Nimbus Group.

The Aquador 250HT is similar in many ways to the 300HT but as indicated by the name is five feet shorter. The new generation of boats have a new design, both exterior and interior, and new features include a hardtop design that combines all of the advantages of a cabin boat with those of an open boat. Both the 250HT and 300HT have the new AquaDynamic hull, with properties that enable the boat to plane at lower speeds while they concurrently need much less throttle to reach cruising speed, which reduces fuel consumption and thus has a lower impact on the environment. Aquador’s new model series was also developed for vacuum injection, a construction method that optimizes material use and produces the lowest possible environmental impact from production. When it comes to engine alternatives, the boats are fitted with a classical inboard engine but certain models are also available with outboard engines.

“To date, the 300HT has had a fantastic reception and we are really looking forward to showing it and its little sister, the 250HT, to an international audience,” says Michael Bohm, CMO of Nimbus Group.

The international Boot Düsseldorf trade fair is taking place between January 21 and 29.
