Nimbus Group’s AB (publ) Flipper 900 DC won the prestigious award Motor Boat of the Year 2024 in the category “Day Boats over 30 feet”. Behind the award is the respected British boating magazine Motorboat & Yachting, which also awarded Aquador 300 HT a second place in the category “Sportscruisers up to 45 feet”.
The awards were announced at the ongoing international trade fair Boot Düsseldorf. Both Flipper 900 DC and Aquador 300 HT were announced in December as finalists for the prestigious 2024 Motor Boat of the Year award. In total, 41 boats in 9 different categories were nominated. Motor Boat of the Year awards are widely considered to be the Oscars of the boating world. To even be considered for the award, every boat has to go through an exhaustive sea trial process.

Just being nominated is an honor so having two boats on the podium is of course extremely satisfying and yet another proof of Nimbus Group’s ability to design and develop attractive boat models in various categories," says Michael Bohm, Chief Marketing Officer of Nimbus Group.
