About Nimbus Group
Nimbus was originally founded in 1968 when the production of leisure powerboats under the brand Nimbus started. Since then a number of brands have been added to the portfolio of what today is the Nimbus Group. That includes the brands Alukin, Aquador, Bella, Falcon, Flipper, Nimbus, and Paragon Yachts. The current main owner, R12 Kapital acquired the shares in Nimbus group in 2012 and the Group is today one of the leading “Houses of Brands” in the powerboat market in Europe and has also started to expand in the American market. The mission of the group is to through its different brands offer a broad range of high-quality powerboats where each brand has its distinct target group.
From 2014 to 2021 net sales increased from SEK 197 million to SEK 1.455 million (As per Jan. 1, 2020 Nimbus applies IFRS, International Financial Reporting Standards). The increase is coming both from organic growth and the acquisitions both of distributors and the powerboat producers Alukin Boats Sweden AB and Bella-Veneet Oy (incl the brands Acquador, Flipper, Falcon, and Bella), as well as the acquisition in 2021 of motorboat dealers in the Marine Store Group. Nimbus Group had net sales of SEK 1 455 million in 2021 and an EBITA margin of 11.4 percent.
