Nimbus Group's flagship model, the 50-foot Nimbus 495 Fly, will be showcased for the first time at the major boat show FLIBS — Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show — as the event opens this Wednesday in Florida, USA. At the same time, Nimbus Group will premiere the EdgeWater 250 CC, the most significant new product from the EdgeWater brand since 2020.

Measuring just over 15 meters, the Nimbus 495 Fly is the largest boat Nimbus has ever launched. It has attracted considerable attention since its debut to a wider audience at the Cannes Yachting Festival last autumn. Media coverage has been extensive, and at the subsequent international boat show Boot Düsseldorf in January this year, the Nimbus 495 Fly was named European Powerboat of the Year in the category for boats up to 18 meters. The award is considered one of the most prestigious in the industry and is decided by a jury consisting of test drivers and editors-in-chief from eight of Europe’s leading boating magazines, with a combined monthly readership of one million.

The new EdgeWater 250 CC is a successor to the previous bestseller, the 245CC, and has been developed in response to feedback from dealers and customers. The boat, which marks EdgeWater’s first product launch since Nimbus Group acquired the company in 2023, features an unsinkable hull built using vacuum infusion technology and is equipped with a range of highly requested features.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is the world’s largest in-water boat show, attracting a vast number of visitors each year. On the opening day of the show, Nimbus Group will host a press conference, with the company represented by its new CEO, Johan Inden.
“The Fort Lauderdale show is one of the industry’s most important events, and I’m truly excited to be there in person to represent Nimbus Group and showcase our incredibly exciting products,” says Johan Inden.
